Reviews
Be weary of the service here, took my computer here for inquiry with a minor hinge issue and the guy started bending my computer this way and that with complete carelessness and lack of sensitivity. I could HEAR the cracking of parts within as he handled the device as if it was a toy. He ended up bending the side of the computer out of shape (the picture was of the lasting damages after I tried bending it back). Left the place with my computer still broken and heightened mental distress as I had all of my important documents on this laptop. If you have a minor issue with your laptop, be super cautious. I’m not a tech person but I believe that even minor problems should be handled with the same care and attention as more serious ones. This experience is saddening as I will never be able to trust technicians fully with any repairs again.
Dawson is the nicest guy! Went in to research new laptop options and he went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied - even printed off a list of viable options that I could look into. Went back later in the day and picked up one of the laptops that he recommended. Great service, and computer is a perfect fit! Thanks Dawson!
Terrible customer service, treat you like garbage. Worst return policy I’ve ever heard of. Bought a monitor and it came out of box broken. Have to send it a request for approval from head office and can take up a week with a chance of them saying no. Out $600 and no monitor. Go to Best Buy. It’s cheaper and way better policies/ customer support.
Not sure about their repair service, but the devices sold here are garbage. My friends and I bought 3 laptops from the store which all got problems successively in half a year either on mic, screen or hard drive. Definitely not recommended!
*****Don't go there*****
A fancy store, with dollar store quality. Now I can imagine why people go to Amazon.
In first look, things are good quality, a little cheaper than Amazon. But after a month you will find too much trouble. When they are going to sell you, they talk simple, but when you have any problem, they became Shakespeare!!
Refuses to honor their price match policy. When challenged on it quoting the terms and conditions, the employee at cash went immediately to the final option of "may decline any price match at its sole discretion" rather than follow the companies own rules.
I previously shopped here for time sensitive purchases and like supporting local Canadian retailers where applicable. I will never be shopping here again and told the employee as much.
He told me after hearing that, "that sounds great to me" in those actual words.
Embarrassing that your service is so poor.
Memory express from now on. At least their employees don't try to act like god. Or hit on my girlfriend like a total creep.
[Edit] reached out to their corporate customer service who said the manager would reach out. That hasn't happened yet, but I'll update this if it does.
Never heard anything back. I'll never deal with Canada computers again. Been a customer of 15 years roughly.
Today I took my computer in for a repair. The person in charge of repairs was phenomenal. He immediately understood the problem and fixed it. In a friendly manner, he explained clearly to me what I had been doing wrong and what I should do in the future. Very impressive!
Not a happy customer!! The website clearly stated that a stylus came with my touchscreen laptop. It didn’t come in the box so I contacted customer service. I opened up a complaint ticket and a product manager sent me their policy, basically saying, that they are not responsible for any false advertising. I sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. They have had hundreds of complaints in the last year. I definitely won’t be buying anything from there ever again
